eTwinning Project “Wellness E@rth: Caring for Our Planet, Caring for Ourselves” 

Target Age Group: 11-13 years old Partner Schools: Schools from different European countries (Italy,France, Spain, Hungary, Turkey)

 Project Duration: 6 months (until may) 

Objectives: 

1. To develop environmental awareness: students will be involved in activities that help them understand the importance of caring for the planet and the actions they can take to protect the environment. 

2. To promote health and well-being: students will be encouraged to develop healthy habits, such as a balanced diet, and to reinforce the idea of wellness through words and artwork. 

3. To encourage collaboration and communication: students will be involved in group activities and collaborations with other European partners to promote understanding and tolerance. 

4. To develop digital skills: students will be involved in online activities that help them develop the digital skills needed for communication and collaboration, improving their knowledge of English. 

Expected Outcomes: 

- Students will understand the importance of caring for the planet and personal health. 

- Students will develop healthy and sustainable habits for their own well-being and that of the environment. 

- Students will be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with other European partners. 

- Students will improve English language. 

Evaluation: 

Evaluation will be carried out through: 

- Observation of student activities and discussions

 - Evaluation of student presentations and videos 

- Student and teacher evaluation questionnaires 

ACTIVITIES 

- Traditional Recipe Exchange: 

Students share recipes of their countries and describe the different ingredients underlining their eventual healthy properties 

- Park Exploration: 

Students create a presentation or video (after exploring) of a park in their town/region and share information about: The name of the park, Its location, Its features (e.g., lakes, gardens, trails), Activities available (entertainment activities such as recreational and play ones) 

- Plant Life Cycle: 

Students study the life cycle of plants (every group may choose a plant) and share their findings. They can create a plant life cycle diagram 

- Plant Benefits: Students study the benefits of plants for the environment and human health. They can create a research project on the benefits of plants. 

- Wellness Art: Students create a presentation of artwork inspired by wellness, such as a drawing of a happy place, a poem about health, a collage and a description of images representing wellness.
